John Archibald is a professional photographer with great experience of contemporary lifestyle, portrait and wedding photography. Based in his studio in Gifford, East Lothian, he works closely with clients in Edinburgh, the Lothians and throughout Scotland and the UK to ensure that they get what they want from the photo shoots. This attention to providing an excellent personal service is complemented by his ability to capture − in a range of locations − fresh, natural, often unguarded moments which mean so much to the sitters as well as to their families and friends.

"Taking Time" captures his philosophy in many different ways − photography for him is about holding those moments, often not seen and too quickly forgotten. It's about providing a considered, personal approach, devoting real attention to detail, and delivering images which are elegant and enduring.

John is married, has three daughters, and lives in Haddington, East Lothian.
